Earlier in the summer I posted a picture of these two fawns, they're bigger now and a little bolder. I have yet to see them with their mother and wonder if they are on their own or if she simply stays hidden.
It
doesn't take much to make them
skittish and run but if you’re still they will make an approach. This one came to within about four feet. That makes it tempting to want to offer them food as I think they would take it from my hand but I don’t because in the long run I know it wouldn't be in their best interest.
